Privacy Policy

• Location. If you grant permission, we use your device’s approximate location to show happy hours near you. Location is used in your browser to sort and display venues and is not stored on our servers in a way that identifies you.
• Information you provide. If you submit a form (for example, listing or claiming a venue, requesting coverage for an area, or joining an interest list), we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email address, venue name, and role.
• Account details. If you create an account we collect your first name, email address, phone number and date of birth. The date of birth is used once, to confirm you are 21 or over, because this platform is about alcohol pricing — we do not use it for anything else. Your password is never stored; only a one-way hash of it is kept, which cannot be turned back into your password.
• Notification choices. If you turn a notification switch on in your profile while signed in, we store that choice on your account so it follows you to a new device. We are not sending notifications: there is no notification system running, so the setting records what you would want and nothing is delivered. Deleting your account deletes these with it.
• Membership applications. If you apply for ALL ACCESS we collect what you tell us in the form — your industry, the area you go out in, an optional social handle, and your own description of who you go out with. It is used to decide applications and nothing else.
• Usage & analytics. We use privacy-conscious analytics (PostHog) to understand how the platform is used — for example, page views and taps on directions or ride links. This is configured without cookies and without session recording, and is used in aggregate.
• Device & log data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and reliability.
• On-device storage. We store some preferences (such as saved venues and your chosen theme) locally in your browser. This stays on your device.

• To provide and improve the platform and show relevant happy hours;
• To respond to listing, claim, coverage, and support requests;
• To send transactional emails you request (such as a venue manage code or verification link);
• To understand usage in aggregate and improve the product; and
• To protect the platform and comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Hosting and infrastructure (Vercel);
• Database and forms (Airtable);
• Email delivery (Resend);
• Analytics (PostHog);
• Mapping and geocoding (OpenStreetMap / Nominatim, CARTO map tiles, and Google) to display maps and locate addresses.

Links out to other apps.Tapping Uber, Lyft, or directions opens that company’s own app or website with the venue’s address filled in. We pass the venue’s location and name — never your personal details — and from that point you are using their service under their privacy policy, not ours. No booking or payment happens inside HHNM.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in to staff and venue-management areas. Our analytics are configured not to use tracking cookies. Most preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies.

You can withhold or revoke location permission at any time in your browser or device settings, and clear locally-stored data by clearing your browser storage.

You can delete your account yourself, in the app. Open Profile, then Account, then Delete my account. This permanently removes your record — name, email, phone and date of birth — straight away, and we do not keep a copy. Venues can remove everything they submitted from the venue dashboard.

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

HHNM is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
